S_V_H Chopin’s Tristesse image3

This the a fragment of the beginning of this most wonderful music.  Far, far from being finished this is just the first stage of the placement of the notes.  Is not music wonderful?  Is it not lucky that art like this can be created?  Is it not fine that so little of it is known which leaves so much yet to be discovered.  This is going to be a long journey.  It’s anticipation, it’s demands, it’s doubts, give it the reason to be persevered, no matter the odds, no matter what is the now. For from now on the best is yet to be painted and lots of music to be felt.

S_V_H Chopin’s Tristesse image2

Fragment of this large 36″ by 14 foot canvas:  This canvas is based on the last 9 measures of this most wonderful musical piece.  What is seen here is the effect of the Birthday painting.  This work will take the impact of that days efforts and drain it to where this canvas now becomes the new painting to try and match.

There is never a match, or even an imitation, for it always has proven to be impossible to duplicate what is.  As what has been said before, each work demands its own identity, no matter what the cost.  Plus, It just cannot be allowed to  happen, for there is too much to learn, and no time but the moments taken building ideas that are used to bounce from the last work into the next.

S_V_H Chopin’s Tristesse image1

This is a early picture of the progress of Chopin’s  Etude op. 10 no.3  “Tristesse”  This canvas is 36inches by 14feet in length.  This subject is based on the final 9 measures that at first alarm and then gently touches over and over until final notes takes your heart away.
