S_V_H Chopin’s Tristesse image2

Fragment of this large 36″ by 14 foot canvas:  This canvas is based on the last 9 measures of this most wonderful musical piece.  What is seen here is the effect of the Birthday painting.  This work will take the impact of that days efforts and drain it to where this canvas now becomes the new painting to try and match.

There is never a match, or even an imitation, for it always has proven to be impossible to duplicate what is.  As what has been said before, each work demands its own identity, no matter what the cost.  Plus, It just cannot be allowed to  happen, for there is too much to learn, and no time but the moments taken building ideas that are used to bounce from the last work into the next.

S_V_H Chopin’s Tristesse image1

This is a early picture of the progress of Chopin’s  Etude op. 10 no.3  “Tristesse”  This canvas is 36inches by 14feet in length.  This subject is based on the final 9 measures that at first alarm and then gently touches over and over until final notes takes your heart away.

Artist table

This is what my artist table looked after finishing The Very Thought of You. Consider this ALL that is located on this table when I start a new theme is a tube of white oil, a tube of acrylic white, the two brush jars with a couple of favorite brushes and a paper pallet or two.  There is even a smaller side table that I counted about 20 others jars and tubes of paint.  After each completed work both table are cleaned up and all the tubes and jars are put back in their place, caps and tops all twisted closed.
